Our country was founded on principles of liberty for all, freedom to pursue one's dreams to the best of their ability, and to not have an intrusive government hovering over our shoulders. The Constitution that was born eleven years after we secured our Independence from Great Britain, was one of the most remarkable documents to ever be written that outlined what a LIMITED federal government was permitted to do, as well as, what it was restricted from doing. This was not a document that told the People what rights they had under the new federal government, but rather, what rights the People had that were God given, and restricted the federal government from impinging on these rights.
Over the past 224 years, political parties have been birthed, run their course, and fell to the wayside as other grew in power. It was never the intention for our government to have political parties, our founding fathers even warned against them, yet, within a short few years after the Constitution is signed, we have the first originating political parties, one led by Jefferson, and one led by Hamilton, being the strongest.
Political parties and their agendas, which never have had the interests of the People at heart, have systematically sought to undermine, twist, and even bury the U.S. Constitution. The first and worst violations came with the election of Abraham Lincoln, and the War Against the States he unleashed. The various Constitutional usurpations that followed were slow and halting until Woodrow Wilson, and his efforts to push through the 16th and 17th amendments, as well as, the Federal Reserve Act. Things soon escalated with additional Constitutional infractions with the election of Franklin Deleanor Roosevelt. After three plus terms, America's plunge into socialism was halted for time with his passing and the election of Dwight Eisenhower after Truman. It was a brief respite. Then came Johnson's "Great Society" efforts after Kennedy's assassination.
From this point the difference between parties begin to blur, with Reagan being the truly ideological standout. After Reagan, atrocities against the Constitution and corruptions of our government grow quickly, and responsible are members of both of the mainstream parties, the Democrats and the Republicans.
We can't blame it all on the two mainstream parties though, nor can we blame it all on the sycophants called lobbyists and special interest groups that circle Washington like vultures. Over the last 150 years and more, the American citizen has become agonizingly apathetic regarding the election system and politics in general. It seems like our population essentially goes asleep during primary elections, with participation between 5-20% of actual registered voters. The number of registered voters is also a low figure compared to the population ELIGIBLE to vote. Then when we get around to the General election, only about half of the registered voters actually vote, despite expansive access via early voting and absentee ballots. Remember when you only had the ONE day to get in and vote? What's your excuse now?
Even with the rise of the TEA Party on the right, and then the Occupy movement on the left, nothing is changing in Washington, not really. All the protests, all the marches, the faxes, the petitions - it all falls on deaf ears in Washington. Even the 2010 elections, with the taking of the House of Representatives by the Republicans has proven to be less than noteworthy.
The answer is not in getting one or the other party control of Congress and the White House. It's not getting any particular person elected or re-elected. The answer resides in firing up citizens again, to not protest and march, but to simply start getting involved in the process, right there in their own neighborhoods and communities.
To Control Congress - Control Elections. To Control Elections - Control Both Parties.
To Control Both Parties - Control The Local Precincts
This book will cover the past of politics, its development over time in the US, bringing us to an analysis of the last couple of administrations and the Congresses that served under them, then the plan that every American citizen needs to get involved in. A small investment of 2-3 hours a month, done locally, by only 1% of this country's population, spread across the United States, could easily grab more than a majority control of both the Republican and Democrat parties. It could be done in less than a decade. The blueprint for this lies in this book. God is calling for those with the courage, with the perseverance, with the conviction to take back this country.
Will YOU answer that call?
